I am a veteran IT consultant and solution architect with many years in the field. I have been through quite a journey into the AI era. Obviously I’ve known about AI for a long time and several of my Info Support colleagues have been working on AI for years.

But recently we see the use of AI gaining momentum blazingly fast. With new tools and possibilities to become way more productive. This sparked my interest … and my skepticism. After going through different phases, I am now fully invested in AI and use it constantly in my day to day work.

“the dainosaur” is a 5 chapter blog series I wrote about this subject. The name is the obvious pun: dinosaur + AI. I write honestly about adopting AI as a seasoned professional: the skepticism, the friction, the shift from “wait and see” to fully committed.

No tutorials. No tool comparisons. No beginner guides. This series is written for peers — architects, senior engineers, consultants — and focuses on the human experience of bringing AI into serious, senior-level work.

Enjoy!
